How to avoid link injenction on Wordpress themes:
- Change the name of the DT acces. WP-… Is not something quite difficoult to finde for scripts.
- Install DB Backup: This will provide you a quick way of getting control over your Data Base, despite being programmer of not. Every of this chartes may be restores and backed up automaticaly if something happends. SEt automaticaly the cron process to make backup daily (at midnight may work).
- Save it
- To know “you have to do it” (restore) Install de Paranoid 911 Plugin. This will send notifications when som change was made on the DB, so you will be able to go over it and analyze what was changed. If It was not your fault, crean DB charts on those who were changed and restore the previous ones.
Intall HTtpbl and WP-honey pot. This two plugins will:
- Analyze the performance of those crawlers and spammers on your site
- Ad a secondary black list from the honey pot project to block spamers.
